<strong>Note to self:</strong> don't try to format a post using HTML when you choose to "Send an Update to Fans" from your Facebook Page! You can't use HTML in the updates - although any URLs you add will automatically be parsed into click-able links by Facebook.

Ah, great minds think alike. I seriously just set up a Facebook Page yesterday for my newest blog. And it was, admittedly, a snap. Now it's just a matter of people somehow finding it. I'm experimenting similarly with Twitter.

I read a laughably obvious tip over at ProBlogger once, which nevertheless registered as an "aha!" moment: Find out where your ideal audience hangs out online. Make yourself a valuable part of the community.

Is my audience active on Facebook? Lord knows, but it's possible to be completely passive with your Facebook Page -- allowing updates to occur through automatic news feeds -- so that it doesn't take too much time away from your real work. Which is always a plus.
